Clarice Anderson

Clarice Anderson was born on May 22, 1950, to Jack and Betty Zimmer in

the small town of St. Helens, Oregon. Growing up in Rainier alongside her

sisters Sharon, Leona, Jackie, and brother John. Clarice passed away

at home with her family beside her on April 18, 2025.

Clarice attended local schools and proudly graduated from Rainier High School

in 1968. Years later, she furthered her education, earning an associate's

degree in Accounting from Lower Columbia College in 1995. That same year,

Clarice moved to Toutle with Raymond Anderson, who would later become

her husband when they married in 2003.

Throughout her working life, Clarice built a diverse career, serving at Trojan

Nuclear Plant, Rainier High School, Rainier Pharmacy, Tektronix,

and finally Entek B&B until her retirement in 2014.

As a devoted mother, she raised three children: her son Darrell and

daughters Katie (married to Scott) and Jessica (married to Ken). Clarice's

family grew to include thirteen grandchildren: Darrekk, Diamond, Donovyn,

Allysun, Savannah, Heather, Hailey, Adam, Lauren, Josiah, Austin, Zack, and Riley.

Her legacy continued with ten great-grandchildren: Kaysun, Isley,

Luella, Nora, Ila, Lance, Paxton, Ezekiel, Camden, and Winnie.

While Clarice was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Betty, and

her sister’s Sharon and Leona. She is survived by her husband Raymond,

her three children, Darrell, Katie, and Jessi. Her siblings John and Jackie,

and her special friend Amy Painter.

A service celebrating Clarice's life will be held on May 3, 2025, at 11AM at ROAR NW Church, located at 75950 Rockcrest Street, Rainier, Oregon
