Lee Fieken, a beloved family man passed away on December 13, 2025, in Longview, Washington at the age of 76. Born on April 23, 1949, in Portland, Oregon, Lee's early years were spent cultivating a love for the outdoors, which he would carry with him throughout his life.
After graduating from Sunset High School in 1967, Lee proudly served in the Coast Guard from 1967 to 1973.
Following his military service, Lee embarked on a fulfilling career with Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation, where he dedicated 27 years of his life before retiring in 2004. During that time he also raised his two boys Matthew and Charles, sharing the love of the outdoors with them by creating memories with regular weekend camping trips in Timber Oregon.
Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding joy and solace in the great outdoors. When he was not outside he enjoyed sports, cooking, often sharing these moments with family and friends, creating lasting memories. In addition to his love for sports, Lee enjoyed partaking in friendly competition of darts and games such as cribbage.
He is survived by his loving family: his children Charles (Karlene), Matthew (Jen); brothers Steve Fieken, Larry Fieken and sister Sandy (Tom) Clough. Lee took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Rebecca, Trevor, and Katrina Fieken-Ranf. He cherished the moments spent with them and instilled values that will resonate with them for years to come. Lee is also remembered fondly by his special friend, Donnie Jacobs.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Fieken and Dolores Rice, who undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping the man he became.
As we remember Lee, we celebrate a life filled with love, hard work as his legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
