Valarie Jean Caulfield

Valarie Jean Caulfield, 71, of Longview, Washington, passed away on August 28, 2026, in Lewiston, Idaho.

Valarie was born on May 25, 1955, in Longview, Washington, to Robert and Shirley Jo Murphy.

Valarie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Murphy; her mother, Shirley Murphy; her husband, Patrick Caulfield; her younger sister, Vicky Konrath; and her great-grandson Briar Murphy.

She is survived by her children, Michael Murphy (Jamie), Niccole Weber (Scott), and Gregory Murphy; her grandchildren, Anthony Morrow, Adrian Murphy, Aryiana Murphy; and her great-granddaughter, Annabelle. She is also survived by her siblings, Tim Murphy (Lori), Robert Murphy, Shelly Murphy, Coquille Hill, and Shawna Harden (Steve), along with 15 nieces and nephews.

Valarie enjoyed attending her grandkids sporting events there weren’t very many she missed, going to the car races, fishing, crossword puzzles, diamond paintings and in recent years she had spead her wings and enjoyed traveling to Montana and Idaho. She was a caretaker by nature and had a heart for everyone she met. She loved deeply and gave freely, always making those around her feel cared for and loved.

Valarie will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she shared with those around her.

A celebration of Valarie’s life will be planned and announced at a later date.
